Thursday, September 28 – Sunday, October 2
Taking home a medal isn’t the only reason that over 700 senior adults
from across the Commonwealth and surrounding states will come to
Lexington to participate in this year’s Kentucky Senior Games. The
Games are a great way for older adults to come together and enjoy
competitive and social events combined with entertainment and fun. Over
the course of four days, individuals will have the opportunity to
participate in more than 18 different events, regardless of their skill
level. Other activities include an Opening Ceremony, a dance, a cookout
and a Fun Day filled with low impact activities. Held throughout
various venues in Lexington, the Kentucky Senior Games are open to
individuals who are 50 years of age and older. For additional
information, call 278-6072 ext. 301.
